Live Art is recognized in Canada and internationally as the leading provider of and advocate for contemporary dance and movement-based art in Atlantic Canada; Live Art is an increasingly important catalyst for creative exchange, innovation and expression.
Live Art Dance strives to:
- Promote the voice of contemporary dance artists with a curatorial perspective in a local context;
- Contribute to the overall artistic, social and economic infrastructure for dance artists;
- Present a broad spectrum of works within the contemporary dance continuum.
